Pack Price ÷ Top Chase Card — Across Sets
Both ratios shown: pack price against the chase card's raw price, and
against its PSA 10 price. A cheap pack next to a very expensive card (low %) suggests
the pack has room to climb; a pack priced closer to the card's value (high %) suggests it's already caught up to the market.
Sorted by PSA 10 ratio where available, otherwise raw. Highlighted row is whichever set you're currently viewing above.
Current pack price is the median across the current + previous month's sales pooled together (not just the latest
snapshot), since a single month can be thin on data — see the pack price card's caption for which months were used.
Popularity & Scarcity Signal — Does Fame Predict Price?
Two factors, side by side, for every set's top chase card: how popular the Pokémon itself is (2020
"Pokémon of the Year" vote — the largest official popularity poll, ~6.6M votes across all 890 Pokémon), and how many
PSA 10 copies already exist (a bigger pool competing for the same buyers can cap the price no matter how popular
the Pokémon is). Not every card is a real Pokémon
(trainer cards like Iono or Miriam don't get a popularity rank — that's expected, not a data gap) and PSA
population is only known for a handful of cards researched so far.
